CES 2026: HP Announces the 'World's Most Powerful Gaming Laptop' and Next-Gen QD-OLED Monitor
HP is always a major player at CES in Las Vegas, and it has announced a raft of HyperX-branded and OLED-equipped gaming laptops with next-gen Intel and AMD processors - including one it claims is the "world's most powerful gaming laptop with fully internal cooling". HP has also unveiled a series of (mostly) OLED gaming monitors, including a tantalising 34-inch 360Hz ultra-wide.
HP's new gaming laptop, the HyperX Omen 17, boasts a 17.3-inch QD-OLED display, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and a range of Intel Core i9 and AMD Ryzen 9 processors. The laptop also features a custom liquid metal cooling system, which HP claims provides "unparalleled performance and silence".
The HyperX Omen 17 is set to be released in the spring, with prices starting at $2,499.99. HP has also announced a range of other gaming laptops, including the HyperX Omen 15 and the HyperX Omen 17, which will be available in the coming months.
In addition to the new gaming laptops, HP has also unveiled a range of OLED gaming monitors, including the 34-inch 360Hz ultra-wide monitor mentioned earlier. The monitor features a QD-OLED display, a 1ms response time, and a range of connectivity options, including HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.
HP's new gaming laptops and monitors are set to be a major player in the gaming market, with the company's focus on high-performance and high-quality displays set to appeal to gamers looking for the best possible experience.
