Nintendo games are about to get more expensive. Or less. Depending on whether or not you want a physical copy, and how you read its recent decision to charge different prices for physical and digital games in the U.S. What's really going on? As usual, I have turned to a panel of industry experts to explain.

According to an article on IGN, Nintendo's decision to charge different prices for physical and digital games has left analysts split. Some believe that this move will lead to a price hike, while others think it will result in a discount.

The article cites an interview with an industry expert who states, "This move by Nintendo is a clear attempt to differentiate themselves from other game developers and publishers. By charging different prices for physical and digital games, they are trying to create a unique experience for their customers."

However, not everyone is convinced. Another expert is quoted as saying, "I think this move is a mistake. It will only confuse customers and make it harder for them to decide which version of the game to buy."

The article also mentions that Nintendo's decision to charge different prices for physical and digital games may be influenced by the company's desire to increase revenue. "By charging more for physical games, Nintendo can increase their revenue and make up for the decline in sales of physical games," says the expert.

But what does this mean for gamers? Will they be able to save money by buying digital games, or will they end up paying more for physical copies? Only time will tell.
