Overwatch 2 Season 20 Midcycle Update

Overwatch 2 Season 20 has arrived, and the midcycle update is bringing new modes, loot, and in-game collectibles. One of the most notable new additions is Showdown Shuffle, which runs from January 13-26.

Showdown Shuffle

Showdown Shuffle locks players into a role, but not a particular hero. Instead, hero swaps can occur when players reach certain milestones for kills or assists, or even when players are eliminated. This mode is going to change which character you're controlling, often at random intervals.

The midcycle update also includes new loot and in-game collectibles. Players can earn these rewards by participating in the midcycle event, which runs from January 13-26.

Availability

The midcycle update is available now for all players on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Players can access the new modes and rewards by launching the game and navigating to the event hub.
