Madonna, John Legend, Pedro Pascal and More Call for Closure of ICE Detention Centre in Open Letter

In a powerful open letter, Madonna, John Legend, Pedro Pascal, and more have called for the closure of the notorious ICE detention centre in Texas.

The letter, which was published on NME, urges the federal government to shut down the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, citing the harsh conditions and trauma endured by children held within.

"Children held in immigration detention endure trauma, neglect and conditions that violate basic standards of health, safety, dignity and human rights," the letter reads.

The letter has been signed by dozens of stars, including Madonna, John Legend, Pedro Pascal, and more.
