Wing to Expand Drone Delivery to 150 More Walmart Stores
Wing, a drone delivery company owned by Alphabet, announced that it will be expanding its service to 150 more Walmart stores in 2026. This expansion will bring the total number of Walmart stores with drone delivery to over 270 by 2027.
The partnership between Wing and Walmart was first announced in June 2025, with plans to expand the service to 100 more stores. However, the companies have now accelerated their plans and will be adding 150 more stores to the list.
The expansion will cover four new cities: Los Angeles, St. Louis, Miami, and Cincinnati. Wing's drones will be flying above these locations, delivering packages to customers in a matter of minutes.
This expansion is a significant step forward for Wing and Walmart, as it will provide customers with faster and more convenient delivery options. It also highlights the growing importance of drone delivery in the retail industry.
